An important message from the Friends of the Bay Spring Community Center:

Due to the coronavirus, and an abundance of caution, the Bay Spring Community Center is suspending all scheduled, onsite programming, until at least June 1st.  We are currently running some great virtual programming and looking to expand that list of offerings!

5th Annual Local Brew Fiddle n Folk Festival @ Haines Memorial State Park

On September 12 from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm, Local Brew Events’ 5th annual Fiddle n Folk Fest will take place in Haines Park, Barrington (near Cove Haven Marina). Featuring 12 bands, storytelling by Len Cabral, food trucks, craft vendors, dancing, kids activities, and poets, it’s bound to be a rousing event.

Michelle Kaminsky hosts an all-levels Fiddlers Jam from 9:30- 11:00 am. Bring a chair and a blanket and enjoy the day overlooking Narragansett Bay.

The day’s events are FREE, thanks to generous support from RI State Council on the Arts, the Town of Barrington, Wildflour Vegan Bakery, Barrington Public Library, The Bay Team, Friends of the Bay Spring Community Center, Barrington Recreation and Leisure Services, New Harvest Coffee, RIDEM, and many generous individuals.
