How can you participate in the Bay Spring Neighborhood Resilience Planning?
The best community plans are driven by the participation of residents, property owners, civic organizations and stakeholders. There will be three opportunities for public involvement in the planning process:
Neighborhood Tour: Participants will tour sections of the project area to look at areas of concern and strength, share information and build first-hand knowledge of the key issues. Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 10 AM – Noon. Meet at Latham Park, at the end of Latham Avenue.
Info Gathering and Brainstorming Workshop: Participants will learn about forecasts for climate impacts, past and ongoing projects to increase resilience and share their own ideas for projects and actions that can increase resilience. Wednesday, February 12, 2020 from 7-9 PM at the Bay Spring Community Center, 170 Narragansett Ave.
Prioritization of Potential Actions and Projects Workshop: Participants will see work generated during and after the first Workshop and have the opportunity to express their preferences for the priority of potential actions and projects to increase neighborhood resilience.
