CONCERT UPDATE:

Out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to postpone this Saturday’s Artist-in-Residence Concert featuring Biscuit City and the Paula Clare Band, due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation. Our top priority at the BSCC is the health and safety of community members who participate in Center events. The concert will be rescheduled to a later date, yet to be determined. All tickets that were purchased, in advance, for Saturday’s show will be honored on the rescheduled date. Should you prefer a refund, please request it in an email to BaySpringCommunity@GMail.com and one will be provided, in-full.

Stay tuned to our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/bayspringcommunitycenter/) and our website for further information regarding the rescheduled date. You can also join our mailing list (on just about any page of our website) and we’ll keep you up to date “automagically”.

For his March 14th Artist-in-Residence Concert, Mark brings the Paula Clare Band to the BSCC stage. Known for its Chicago-style blues, their music also contains generous elements of jump-blues, Texas shuffles, R&B, funk, soul-jazz, and even a taste of New Orleans. In addition to Paula on vocals, the band features Mike Tanaka on guitar; John Debossu on bass; and Bro Dunn on drums. You’ll hear influences from Etta James, Mavis Staples, Bonnie Raitt, Susan Tedeschi, as well as Professor Longhair, Ray Charles, Robert Cray, and more. Paula’s career bridges many different artistic worlds. She began as an actress on stage, radio, television and film, first in Chicago (Second City) and later, in Los Angeles. She’s appeared in features, made-for-TV movies and episodic television as well as countless ads and commercials. These days, she not only fronts the Paula Clare Band, but she also sings and plays keyboards with the honky-tonk and roots rock band, Biscuit City.

There is a $10 (suggested donation) for tickets.
