Did you know the wooded, six-acre lot at the top of Allin’s cove is contaminated by industrial waste and will soon be developed? The map below shows a development plan recently submitted to RIDEM by the owners. This plan is not final and has not been approved by the Town of Barrington or the RI Coastal Resources Management Council.

Do you live near this site (between Bay Spring Ave and Adams Ave – the Allin’s Cove shoreline)? Do you enjoy the view from the Allin’s Cove shoreline? Do you live in the Alfred Drowne or Bay Spring neighborhoods? Are you curious about contaminated brownfield sites in Barrington? Would you like have a voice in guiding the use of this coastal land?

Please join your neighbors at the Bay Spring Community Center at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, June 29th for a community forum.
