Public Workshop: Bay Spring Zoning Study @ Bay Spring Community Center | Barrington | Rhode Island | United States

Join Town Planner Phil Hervey and Jeff Davis of Horsely Witten for a public workshop focused on the Bay Spring Zoning Study, which kicks off in April.

This project will evaluate the zoning in the Bay Spring Avenue corridor, from Washington Road to Narragansett Avenue. This could lead to revisions to the zoning ordinance and/or the zoning map, including creating a new zoning district for the area. Several key parcels will be discussed in detail – 40 and 60 Bay Spring Avenue, the vacant commercial building at the northwest corner of Bay Spring Ave and Washington Road, the Allin’s Cove property now being cleaned up, and the vacant lot north of Bay Spring Avenue east of the bike path.

Download this flyer for more details and check out the “Bay Spring Avenue Future” website.

All community members are invited to give their input and participate in the walking tour of the area and workshop at the BSCC (the afternoon of Saturday, April 29th).
