If you enjoy reading cookbooks for fun and not just for nourishment, then come and join Reading in the Kitchen, a Cookbook Club through Barrington Public Library.
The group meets monthly on the third Monday night of the week from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Participants are asked to bring a dish to share from that month’s cookbook and their own table setting.
This month’s cookbook theme is Cookbooks by David Tanis. Books include: A Platter of Figs and Other Recipes (2008); Heart of the Artichoke and Other Kitchen Journeys (2010); and One Good Dish (2013).
While open to all, new attendees MUST register and all attendees RSVP to confirm attendance and the dish they will be bringing. To register for each month’s gathering, contact Community Services Librarian Jessica D’Avanza at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 401.247.1920 x312.
